. Carlos I. Calle, PhD, is a NASA senior research scientist with a doctorate in physics and extensive professional experience in Einstein's theoriesVery little appreciation for formal math or physics is needed to enjoy this book. I also would recommend Scruton's introduction on Kant.. Scruton, in my opinion, gives a good introduction to Spinoza's philosophy. However, Spinoza's thinking to justify pantheism meets with much, and according to me, justified criticism. A lucid and highly readable account of Spinoza. Great !!. Although at times complicated and especially to those with little or no prior knowledge of the topic, his analysis is sound and he has much appreciation for Sponoza's approach to ethical matters and political philosophy. This book explores the relationship between fashion and the surrealism art movement. This is an interesting book about Einstein's life and work. I found Roger Scruton's work here highly enjoyable and extremely instructive. There is only one equation -- guess which one! When the book said you only needed high school algebra to understand the Special Theory of Relativity, I wish it had included those equations. I know I am!. A good read. It includes gorgeous photos and interesting text. But -- one can find them elsewhere..
