The informal (and witty) language makes it a fun read, but it is very informative as well. I try to do my reviews honest with the pros and cons I can see myself in a product, with facts that a potential customer might find useful. Great for those beginning their work in the helping professions, this book gives a concise and true representation of the skills and knowledge needed for crisis work. The best things about this book were the ease of reading, the excellent photos from various stages of Cobb's life, and the concise focus on the man and his career.
